Their third album showed some improvement. It was all very "teenage", which you can forgive them for, considering the band was formed when they were in high school. Their first two albums sounded raw, bland, and Davey's lyrics were no where near the level of sophistication they are now. Suffices to say, they didn't emerge into glory.
